they dont know this. all they see is vultures side. their men can be swayed by people. vesudes.. where are they jumping to conclusions? they are literally only thinking/ speculating about possible worst case scenarios which is highly understandable from everythinf they've been through and how the world now looks. ofc they'd be cautious until proven otherwise. if they blindly trusted his words without checking for themselves they'd be the absolute idiots instead.

it is completely understandavle they think that. they dont know her yet, if they just blindly trusted words without seeing for themselves they'd look like idiots that didnt care about their son's well being. this just proves their understanding of the world and how much they care for duke. of course they'd put trust in their people but everyone can be misled by someone. even their highly trained teams. they'll want assurance. nothing ungrateful about this. only if they moved against her before hearing her side/seeing her personality would they be ungrateful

probably died from lack of care or got killed by their own bees.. i've read there are bees that kill their queens when they dont produce satisfying amounts of/quality eggs/offspring.. so maybe with a better queen here they were killed? or they just take half the nest and let the queens replenish the lost bees themselves to steal again later idk~

i still wonder how they did this.. like is he now perpetually half blind cause the makeup closing his eye? or can he somehow see through it as its liek one way glass thing they painted over/around or sumtn? you cant just dissapear an eye only to make it reappear once the meakeup is gone thats not how this works XD

still some preparation to be done. family to meet. etc. she didnt have time to go back to duke with all the explaining she had to do. and besides, they mightve planned to do exactly that but she got blocked by her vengeful director/ex-boss' men so yeah.. she never made it there
