I think this is a fundamental shift in mentality from a space rim peasant to a higher societal standing. Ves has become so important that he is breaking free of the confines of the value of money. He and everyone around him are so sure of his continued success and growth that he is afforded a near limitless credit to borrow money as he sees fit. Remember when he was selling his first few mechs and it was hard for him to find a lone buyer who was willing to pay a few brighter dollars on one of his mechs. I wonder what value those first few mechs are worth to collectors at this point in his career.
This seems like a good opportunity for me to canvas for the true MC, Lucky. Cast your votes at the end of the chapter to help us get our favorite gem cat into first place . With your help we can surpass Ves at the top spot.
Alright, Iām convinced. We donāt know how itās possible, but can we really let this opportunity pass us by?
By collapsing do they mean like a gamble falling through? Is this just bad translation or is it an aspect of the raw stones falling apart?
Iām waiting for the classic Ves move where he gets his trust betrayed by the obvious ally and so he flips the table and starts to work with the opponent. Will ves end up becoming a fleeter, or will the red association realize their mistake in time to stop themselves from becoming his enemy? Find out next time on āThe Mech Touchā!
This is great and all, but it does nothing to counter the argument. This is like a commercial break in the middle of a debate.
Slightly scathed*
Heās going to do what?
It was a calculated risk, Iām just bad at math.
Hereās Johnny!
