Why told him? Better way to explain the technique to the reader would be just let the battle continue, and more logical for him not to tell his abilities like that, after all, isn’t he like súper intelligent or something?

Maybe my only regret is that in the end he didn't have a really special person for him, just people he basically created (his children) and wives he didn't really love, only appreciated at best. I'm not complaining about the children, for me it was the best thing about this story BY FAR, but I would have liked a surprise, someone who would move the bear's heart and make it difficult for him but would stay in the end. Excellent story author, I hope you focus your next story on someone more "human", more receptive to the feelings of those who appreciate him... And that he doesn't have a multitude of children that we don't know with a multitude of women that we don't know, please.
