This is sweet, and I’m really glad that he’s got a buddy to tell him to go for it, that the difficulty is worth it, and that there’s a place for them and their potential children.

It’s improving! Don’t lose heart. English is funky. Even when things get a little confusing, your overall plot is still there.

I thought Oliver had a soft spot for Ian, kind of liked him and knew him better than most the church? Previously, he would ask questions directly to confirm that Ian hadn’t misbehaved. This seems flat out suspicious. Was Oliver asking, or the man beside him?
