New adventure in new land. Liking this way more than the things that could have happened in the Adhan capital. And a question for the author. Are the nobles of Adhan still xenophobic towards Alexander in spite of his massive success in capture and annexing Tibias? If so why, they would rather have a competent person in pasha position to defend themselves if other countries attacked. If they are xenophobic due to Alexanders roots as a slave then aren't the nobles too stupid to make their society function. Or are they just intimidated by his might. If the reason is this then its understandable.
As he is now, his base is not strong enough or even the civilization's level is not up to par for a centralized government. you need quite a lot of technology to implement centralized government. And before guns I really don't think it's possible to implement it for a country as large as Adhania. Look the rulers, they don't even know how many villages there are in the area, and they don't even have any intention of making a full map of a country that is updated yearly. How are they going to implement a centralized government if the government doesn't have an account on it's citizens. The only places this kind of ruling applicable is in or near the cities. But cities are a very small part of these countries. Guessing but barely 5% of the population lives in cities. I'd say a government like that is nothing but a pipe dream.
Bro please don't bring these topics to author's mind. Author seems way too much into ntr. The less of these kinds of things in the novel the better. This is a good novel and it's better if things as NTR are kept to minimum.
Man stop it. it's a story. And stories are not going to be believable on all aspects.
Too much spending required. Rather than armor ox and their riders Alexzander can make more armoured cavalry. As the upkeep of horses are higher but not by much, and they are much better in war.
Nah bro she is poison. Its best to kill her and be done with it. People like this are the reason why the nobility system ended in the way of every rich nobleman getting guillotined to death in France. Killing her right now is the best thing Alexander can do. But I guess author has other plans.
It might be. But the things Alexander is facing dealing with Felecia is new. It's showing us Alexander getting to know a different kind of enemy. And this lady has secondary control of a province under Alexander. So he cannot risk such cunaiving person to hold power. And he cannot easily replace her as the local population and Lapitus would not like it. This may be filler but a good quality one. Is the author streaching it a bit - yes. But the story is good.
I mean what would Felicia think if she knew that Alexander was a slave? She seems to think that social position is based on birthright. So she might like the luxurious life Alexander can afford, but can she accept being a mistrss as a noble, whereas the main wife is lowborn. Lastly Alexander is not stupid enough to fall for any of these. Does she expect all men to be as stupid regarding their love life? So her plan still seems half baked.
I mean why is she doing this?? to get a rise out of Lapitus. Not a good idea. She is not that valuable as a hostage as she is an illegitimate daughter. Frustrating Lapitus doesn't help tha situation in any way. Or is she suicidal, forcing Lapitus to keep them inside thesile. I dont get the motivation man. In every way her manipulation seem detrimental to her.
