Read that chapter years ago but it was like she was born in a poor family and her family was selling her to some fat+disgusting noble as marriage and that guy had very bad reputation. That's all I can remember sadly but you should check that chapter out as you don't need any previous chapter knowledge and it's free to read too. It was one of the extras iirc.

Not the above guy but I kinda like Marie in the novels, not this version tho but the one in alternative story chapter one where she ends up with Leon instead and honestly in that chapter she had better chemistry with Leon than other girls (But that's my opinion). And her backstory in this world is pretty cliche but sad tho.

I mean they made dwarves look like bunch of elves so whos's to say that they will follow classic fantasy rule of what dragon look like.
