I think you really need an editor. Even if your story is good, the problem is that if you are not able to convey what you as an author is trying tell the readers through the use of words, than everything is for nothing.

This novel takes an interesting take on Spiderman where it is not Peter Parker and someone else. I am interested to find what will happen in the next chapters. But I don't know if this story has an impactful moment like the one the original Spiderman movie had when Uncle Ben died or I might have just missed it. The line "With great power comes great responsibility" made Peter Parker into Spiderman. I hope this story has that moment. All the best.
