Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
LOL the real writer pulled the same trick Ren Dover as an author pulled. "Alright, we're there now"
Wait, what story is this you keep referring to?
What?! Fang Yuan, the Evil Refinement Demon Venerable?... sounds almost cute and harmless
Yeah, this definitely was one of the top novel series I read in recent years and you could also find me on the LoTM discord. The characters' struggle with insanity is relatable. In real life, rituals anchor identities, and identities protect your ego from being hurt by events like failures or insults. Just in my experience. So I felt that was great. Separately, the author did a great job setting up a vividly visualized setting and atmosphere, especially on the first chapter. Shame Cuttlefish said it took him too much effort and stopped doing that. Then the rest of the story has a great slowly unfolding series of mysteries, just like Attack on Titan, always having a little more to string us along. The grand multi-side battle royales were the best and it's a shame we don't get to see Klein pull of more crazy unexpected stunts. I loved how Amon was written, always an arrogant bastard smiling with a monocle and actually winning. I went on to read Cuttle's past work, Throne of Magical Arcana, and loved it too. Finished it. Realized much of the deities, abilities, names, and even characters were imported from Throne of Magical Arcana. Amon is practically the same as the MC of Arcana, for example. I've read quite a few novels the past year and I would say comparably enjoyable serieses would be Reverend Insanity, Mother of Learning, The Legendary Mechanic (though TLM is more self-insert).
SS also killed for benefits. Each kill strengthens him. Though he did also enjoy it a lot.
irl Prince Feng Xian's battlecry here would have been the N-word
Oh come on that's ret-conning! It should have been entirely destroyed! Sure you could have made the case that partially destroying and disrupting Star Constellation's supply of will was enough to shut down possibility of new players emerging but that wasn't what was said!
whoa so badass lol
LOL
