I’m willing to push forward since I’ve already mass bought chapters and as this is my biggest complaint I’m just wondering up till what chapter will her plans start to make sense and will she show growth? I’m willing to read up till then before I pass my final judgement on whether I should drop this but I just what to know at what point do you think she’s grown so I can keep and eye out. I understand the inexperience part and I’m not trying to hate I’m just a little frustrated because while I have no issue supporting novels and buying chapters I just felt like only being able to read 30 chapters before buying is a huge investment and I was just hoping rose would keep the same personality or grow. But please let me know and other than this complaint I do believe this is a good novel.

I understand that maybe she’ll get better in the future but I’ve already push forward and bought more chapters and while I can see Blake having more character development and becoming stronger I just feel like rose hasn’t. Like I said earlier even where I’m at and I don’t want to give spoilers to anyone else reading but it just seems like again she’s only making choices to hold out and wait and to just tread water and she throws her title out there as a Shelly and is disappointed when nobody bows down. While yes I can see she wants to make safe choices for the title and genre of this story I expected her to be stronger and I get she’s around other really powerful characters but for the past arcs she simply hasn’t made any choices that put her ahead of anyone and right now she’s just sitting waiting for Blake to come back not knowing if he can even do anything.

And by this I mean will this book have it in the future because if so please let me know so I can just drop it now.

Yea author I don’t want to be super negative but I just feel like at this point this whole story was supposed to be about her protecting Blake and being strong a intelligent but so far everything has just been rose trying to not drown. Again I understand the importance of building plot and character but she was seen as as strong and intelligent to other people and yet she’s been looked down on, struggling just to keep up, and made a binding vow with the one person who she shouldn’t have been in contact with. I just hope soon we can see her make smart choices and start to rise or I seriously might consider dropping this work even tho I do enjoy it.

Author I’m confused. In a earlier response to a comment you said rose is not dumb and we just need to wait and see but I have yet to see her make a objectively intelligent move. She was afraid of him because of his strength but she has the blackmail to basically render him useless and yet signs this binding contract that is unbreakable? I understand you want to make a plot line where Blake comes and she eventually breaks it or something but this doesn’t seem to make her more intelligent in my opinion. Maybe I’m miss understanding but so far I have yet to see her make a intelligent decision that places her ahead.
