first - I already said how modern armor protects from maces, impact absorption, they are designed to protect from impact of bullets and slow their velocity, are you saying you can hit harder with a mace than a bullet? second - Why use attribute points to get results from a specific weapon when you can get immediate results from a different weapon, that will only grow stronger with attribute points? third - The concentrated blow makes no sense, the force will disperse no matter what, it's basic physics, also, where are you gonna find a mace tech teacher? it's exactly bcoz of the popularity of the sword over the mace that sword tech teachers are much more common, why struggle to find a mace teacher when you can find a sword teacher just like that? fourth - The simple fact is that swords have more reach than maces, maces need to hit with the head to be effective, you can hit with the shaft, meaning their range of effect is also very less, meanwhile you can cut and slice with the whole blade of a sword, meaning their range of effect is larger, when equally skilled and similar build mace fighter and sword fighter battle, either the sword fighter wins bcoz he kept his range or they both dies bcoz the mace fighter got cut and sliced up trying to get in close to kill the sword fighter.

yes, in a medieval setting, this is modern times, the whole point of a mace is being able to hit through hard, metal armor but in a modern setting where nobody wears that kind of armor it is obsolete, modern armors are about absorbing the shock of the blow, guess what that means? a kace won't have much of an effect,meanwhile a blade can slice away at even kevlar and will eventually reach the body. It is nowhere as fast as a sword and has less range, you cannot thrust with a mace. Swords are weapons that come with multiple techniques, stances, etc. Maces only bonk. also you should note that this is a world with horrendous monstrosities that have layers upon layers of fat and meat, maces will do nothing against but swords stand a chance. There's also the simple fact that when a mace wielder fights a sword wielder, either the sword user will win or they will both lose.

a lot of the reviews that have rated the book low have no valid reason to do so, one was literally, "oh he's a beta🤓", the only complaint they have is that mc is too weak... well that's the point of this fic, the mc was transmigrated inti the body of a civilian with average or below average chakra and was also a slacker, a guy said Takuma is a fool for waiting for basic training and sone were all about how it's the naruto world, there are endless ways to get strong, without even thinking, The strongest people in naruto are clanborn with monetary and informational backing or atleast genetic advantages(naruto,sasuke,itachi,madara,hashirama,etc)takuma has neither and the civilian born strong ninja are all people who were jonin trained and were hard workers or geniuses,compare that to takuma's situation, you can't jump into advance training without doing basics, it was specifically told takuma doesn't remember much of naruto, everybody is complaining that takuma is weak and pathetic, when that is exactly the point of the fic, people have gotten used to op mcs who wipe out everything in their way and have forgotten what good writing is, takuma loses often and that's what makes the times when he wins special, you feel for him as he grows, he does what he thinks is best with what he has, this isn't a story about growing from the weakest rapidly and being able to stand besides the strongest, it's about making do with being the weakest and doing your best to survive in a ruthless world, with that being said there are some problems, I know takuma is supposed to look super average as well but the way author-san describes him just looks super bland in my imagination, it would be more fun if it was described that takuma was wearing trinkets from his different wins and loses Or something, but he's just super plain,I love basic costumes, but they need to have something that makes them stand out from the crowd, I know that's the point and takuma is just another guy in the crowd, but man... also one of the tags is romance but the only romance I've seen till now is between takuma and his life, hopefully in later chapters there is something that justifies the tag, so far takuma has been Mr jack of all trades master of none, and now is being set up to specialize in genjutsu but there is not much unique about the way he uses his genjutsu either, just doctor super plain, I thought there was at least going to be some weed jutsu but nope. with all of that being said, this is a genuinely good read, you keep writing author, don't worry about those op mc crybabies, but hopefully you eventually give takuma some abilities that make him stand out.

what do you think? are the kids in naruto told anything about how stuff goes on outside their village? maybe they are just purposefully kept ignorant, not told about the details of what shinobi business actually is, kiri on the other hand is... different, the kids there are shown brutality from the get go, I think kiri also has the most defectors because of that, they're too focused on creating killing machines to brainwash the kids and make them think their village is always right and the best place in the world, konoha and other villages on the other hand focus more on the propaganda and manipulating impressionable young children, that's why a lot of the kids in konoha are so happy go lucky, or maybe I have it all wrong

1st-constructive criticism is a thing, instead of just crying about how the text based scene change was so bad and ruined your immersion you could've also said how to improve it, but you didn't, that's my point. 2nd-you clearly don't know about the tone about your comment, if that makes any sense, your comment about her wanting to be like chiyo seems aggressive and seemed like you were mad at rukia for not having known about things that she couldn't have possibly known. 3rd-your bit about how text based scene changes can ruin immersion is valid but i never saw it like you did, I always imagine fics about anime to be anime themselves, each individual chapter being an episode, with the text based scene change of this fic being a bumper with the anime's logo shown in between the episode for advertisements, I never told you to not read the scene change i told you to imagine it as part of the episode itself, now this is proper advice, which you don't know how to give. 4th-there's no need to ask for permission from the author to change the story, because you can't change the story, that is completely the author's decision, what I'm talking about are suggestions, instead of constructive criticism and a suggestion on how to change the scene change for the better you just kept crying about it. 5th- You said that I'm already looking for advice when the fic has barely began and the author is only laying the groundwork for the story in a negative way, that makes no sense, this is the where advice is the most important, in the groundwork itself, you can't expect the author to change something later in the story, in a way that would go against the previously set up characterisation and story without ruining the immersion, it's always better to lay a good base now than retcon it later.

that is kind of what I was saying, rukia doesn't know and if she does then she doesn't care about the morally dubious stuff that chiyo's done, the only things that are probably told to the children in the world of naruto about the strongest and most loyal ninja of their village is that they're the strongest and the most loyal, and maybe what kind of style they follow, after all if they're told that their idols commit end lifes on an almost daily basis, the kids wouldn't want to become genocide machines would they?
