Wow. The negative reviews almost stopped me from reading it but i realised they almost never actually gave proper feedback, most of them are just random comments like 'The mc stinks' for some reason. I honestly think this is the best novel i have read in a while. There are a few (2-3) shaky bits with the mc seeming a bit mentally unstable but honestly that just helps develop his character. Also the world building is absolutely amazing; you can tell the author has put alot of thought into the structure and depth of the world around the mc. Its amazing how vivid of an image you can create in your head when you read through the chapters. And the best part is its not just long info dumps but you just passively learn about the world as the story progresses. I also love the characters in the novel. Some of the approaches the authors uses when introducing and developing a character are kind of unorthodox but its so refreshing and really interesting to read. **Spoiler ahead** The way julian is introduced is so sudden and i really love it because it kind of makes you feel suspicious of him but its almost like his powers work on us too since, just like the mc, we are drawn away from his sudden appearance and coerced into believing he's a human aswell. The power system is also really cool, its easy to understand but i don't quite get how it works in some ways. **Small spoiler alert** Nick gets 5x stronger when not seen and his base stats increase as he tiers us, but as he tiers up his actual ability doesn't increase in strength. This is fine for nick and the champion of light but the other extractors abilities just seem to get more powerful as they tier up (Like the people with the disruptor ability being able to disrupt zephyx at a certain level). Does this mean that eternal abilities just don't increase in strength but all the others do or is there something i missed? Idm either way. All in all, I really do think this is an amazing novel that is worth giving a go. I was hooked from the first chapter but the first 100 chapters really get you stuck in. According to the people leaving actual reviews this author already has some really good novels so im going to check those out and i recommend you do too!

Idk why all these terrible reviews are on the front page but the novel isn't as bad as they say. The grammar is fine, sure its not the best but a non-native english speaker isnt going to have perfect grammar. Story is fine good and the characters are completely normal for a novel. Every bad review is completely non constructive so im guessing theyre just review bombing this amazing novel. I feel bad for the author man :(
