A nice book with potential, either as crime thriller mystery maybe. A little too short like you said. It lacked a little build up though. The setting; date year? Tech advancement? The characters; what's the story on her family and the VIPs? Why kil the son and where was she/how did she escape? Where has she been? The main character's story isn't clear; is she unhinged or just out for revenge? Will she stop now that she has avenged her family or now she's like the joker, making the world pay? And why the moniker 'poison'? And the red lips MO? The detective who figured it out, how did he? Why mock the chief for thinking it was a man, and how long had he known it was a woman? Why were the killings going on for that long with absolutely no info or leads on it? what was the publics view on the police's failure and how did it motivate them? why finally give him the case? Why is he dubbed 'the hero'? Like what's the backstory there? Too many holes, unexplained. And why would he put in all that work to (a) go see her without backup, and (b) get flustered then drugged, fully knowing her capabilities especially since she killed a lot of people, very important people in fact? Also what was the point of that last letter to the police? I love reading and I like your book. But it left me with so many unanswered questions that end up making the story lose it's appeal. Hope the book turns out Ace. Can't wait to read it🌟
