I think if he were refering to American Football he would say American Football. author definitely means Futbol or soccer. especially since they refer to the World Cup and not the Super Bowl.

um he does work. or did you forget he works the farm. stop being ignorant its not like orpal does nothing. its just not as efficient as his brother but that is not his fault. he wasnt born with a fully matured adult mind at birth. never mind the improbable nature if that happening.

um she has a valuable skill. she has to hunt her self to make a living and she has to prepare the meat for sale before selling. and if he for instance nicked the stomach or the intestine it could contaminate the meat so yeah putting all the obligation on him to provide meat to practice on is sensible. plus by taking half she gets compensated for time she will have to spend in him that she cant spend hunting or preparing meat or whatever else.
