Sumeng is his courtesy name and is used by like peers or strangers but not standalone without his surname unless they are like friends/familiar with one another. A- is a nickname prefix that basically signifies familiarity.

I understand your thought process! And yes, although there are already 50 chapters I mentioned in the past before that this story is NOT going to be short so there is not going to be speedy development. And to better clarify Emre's thought process is the fact that he WAS once human. So even if he says he is a dragon, himself, that still isn't going to change over 20 years of having been a human. While he IS a dragon now, he has only been one for a few months and half of that was purely alone, so he still has the mind of a human right now. Development and learning don't happen very quickly and I have the intent for his maturity to change in the future. But I don't think you are cold or cruel! We all have our preferences and I thank you for this feedback. This is my first writing project so I am still learning myself.
