they're not unkind... you're just uncomfortable with the fact that you ultimately screwed him over. if you would genuinely apologize you would feel less guilty about it and he would probably respond to you differently as well.

ugh, one thing i hate is women who are dead wrong and can't admit they're wrong. i'm sorry your poor plan for ruining someone's life went astray and you ended up ruining someone else instead, but you don't get to throw attitude like you're the victim. this female lead gets šš½šš½. maybe she will become enlightened and give a genuine apology and show some actual contrition.
