I mean kinda. But if you really think about it. There's really only so much you can do to bend the truth without being able to support your lie with evidence. That's why the lie feels weak, because there's is no evidence and nothing but discrepancies.

Could I note that the techniques don't really need a sword. Yes, the technique is a sword form but its main base is a breathing technique. So it would be cool to see him use the ability without a sword. That's just preference though. I'm the kind of guy to pick fist over an actual weapon in a "magical" setting. It just kinda upsets when a character with natural weapons(his dragon hands have claws and scales, that's just a natural gauntlet) uses a sword or something.

Eh, Lovecraft's gods and entities are incomprehensible the descriptions are vague flashes that is just the mortal mind comprehending such an unknowable entity.

Thats his alias? really, I mean he could've given his own opinion of a name told some that "x" was his name or some such. Some rule i like are name chosen by civies suck, names chosen by the character themselves are giveaways and thematically fitting, and name given by the villains are cringe and edgelordish, but still in the realm of cool. My hope was for him to introduce himself as Dragon. Not to cringe, its on point for us, for the civies in the story it cool and has some impending threat to it.

But if there's two switches, what is he activates both? But if that's not how that works then you might consider relabeling that as buttons instead. A switch worked when there was two cause it's on or off, form one or form two. But with three forms all having their own switch just doesn't really work unless it is one switch with a middle option like the firing selectors on assault rifles. small rant very unimportant, mostly clarity problems.

I little fanatical, but well put if they can't fight and/or aren't willing to kill then they aren't good pieces.
