Such as “be a sweetheart”, “honey”, “angel”, There’s a lot of cute pet names to alternate between to keep it fresh and keep the message pure.

I get that the time period is different and that would be fine if he himself didn’t bring up her youth so often as if he knows it’s wrong. I wish she was 16,17 Instead. She could still be naive/innocent but the “grow up” comments wouldn’t be needed. It causes Unnecessary discomfort for the reader.
