seems pretty ham-fisted to me. How does an AI even get distracted? She could probably write a program to follow what these people are up to and alert her in less than 0.1 seconds while still working on other stuff.

Your premium is what you pay monthly in order to have insurance. That doesn't have anything to do with after it's already totaled. As long as you have paid your premium each month you should get the payout. Assuming of course they don't have some exception in the case of a mutant attack

Not really a fan of the loss of control, both with yelling out during an internal conversation and later El taking over for such a mild insult. What is worse though is that Mara seems to be the one to apologize, instead of reinforcing just how over the top El's actions were for a little name-calling.

With Rank 4 in Gun Nut I can fire 50 cal rifle rounds out of a weapon made of plumbing pipes. And I thought Jury Rigging was some Wagh! power. My weapon designs no longer need to have any bearing in engineering. It works because I say it works.
