I did not enjoy this ending (I do enjoy this universe tho), buuuut to be fair I never did resonate with Quinn. He always hated himself through whole series, and never once enjoyed the enjoyable things. Any time I saw Ray or a few of the other characters in the chapter it immediately made me more excited cause they actually seemed to have fun with their strengths and even kinda acted like a homie sometimes. But Quinn just always looked for a way to get rid of the responsibility and power, never acted like he enjoyed any part of it, even named his faction cursed. Just in general made it hard for me to like him (I know this isnt same for everyone). But I think that does play into this ending tho. He has had less life experiences than a 35 year old reading this novel and he has spent his few waking hours doing anything other than worrying about other people so to me it doesnt make sense why he is acting like there is nothing left for him to do when he hasnt done anything himself (I know living vincents life is there, but that has been ignored and forgotten about so many times it might as well not even have happened.) Overall this feels just like MDS with a ton of plot holes, people forgotten about, and a rushed ending due to pushing other books and IRL stuff. Heres to hoping the next novel isnt another character looking to "Cure" themselves from problems that the reader's wish they had for 2500 chapters.

Yes. The JKS go to arc. Start a ""Tournament" of some kind, but for it to never actually finish without interruption. You see a tournament in these novels you know everything leading to it being a "Tournament" is pointless filler. haha Not once in 3 novels has one actually been completed or the competition actually mattered.

Didnt just a few chapters ago he say that he would never use a fake name again. Doesnt surprise me, Quinn been hiding for like 90% of the novel. But thought we would finally be getting away from it.

Really dont like this "Memory Wipe" arc, honestly feels like the most forced and weakest arc out of any of JKS novels. Not becuase of characters dieing or anything like that, I like good character deaths, but because everyone has to be dumbed down so much, and even their own convictions and personalities and even abilities tossed to the wind.

Really depends on what "version" of power Rey is at. With his armor, he effectively has his dragon body back, which already makes him stronger than celestials. If they making him only as strong as his borrowed body and not his OG body, then I agree maybe on the lower side of 5-30. But if Author letting him have OG strength, then more like 1000x stronger. Ray had 1000s of abilities, Qi drain/mastery, and to lesser extent his "Beast Style". Which is honestly why I think its going to be on the lower side of the power scale. Rey with his 1000 abilities would take every strong being in the universe to tag team him to deal with the pure versatility of having 1000s of abilities.

Leave Sil alone, he getting some rest after his "Friend" Quinn left him to rot in Jacks machine for a year while he played family.

Didnt the vampire settlement originally have a nest crystal to power their blood/cloning tech? Werent the originals also around when earth had nest crystals and they wiped beasts from earth? I think JKS starting to lose track of some of his plot. I mean, are the originals really this ignorant of everything going on around them? First with not recognizing shadow plague and now this?

They are originals from the time of Eno/Lenny and they dont recognize the shadow plague? Best case scenario is a massive time gap from Eno being made an original, and the rest of them being made into the original vamps and Lenny telling them absolutely nothing from the time of MDS/Magitek/Qi era, plus how every many hundred/thousands of years till that civilization collapsed. JKS does good work, but his timeline continuity always struggles. haha

You must not have read My Dragon System. Even though this is just Ray in a borrowed body, Dragons were superior to gods, and Ray was the king of dragons and that armor is made from his dragon body before he was reborn. Ray's only weakness was his curiosity and free spirit, and eventually his family. Im going to go out on a limb and say that JKS isnt going to allow this to be full power Ray and give him his magic and abilities back or he could body everyone in current timeline. He had a 1000 abilities alone, and the ultimate Qi drain skill. He literally protected the planet from an ancient magitek era, till modern ear when he decided it was time to give up his strength to modern humans and let them take over. Off your list maybe the Ancient ones and immortui and maybe quinn with new armor can beat current Ray, but if he has Qi drain and/or abilities back then none of them would measure up.

So Vincent is likely mind controled, blades missing, Peter and Anduy (because of being an undead)and Logan (because of the nano bots) are likely imprisoned at minimum, and Quinn just been chilling to play house. Dunno man, kinda messed up. I mean, prolly a plot device going to be thrown in so it doesnt look so messed up that Quinn let this go, but I couldnt imagine letting people I am close with have their memories altered and be doing who knows what with who cause he wanted to play house.

Edvard is such a corrupt politician but in the best way. hahaha
