nahh buddy I'm proud of my scars
He didn't have enough energy to create a beam of it like godzilla but when he eventually did it was gonna be awesome. alex clashed with the same anjanath both times he was hunting great jagras and he could have sworn it was like the damn thing was specifically searching him out. this was actually how he got his first scar in this world as the anjanath got his rear left leg with a fire breath. it deformed the skin slightly under his scales so even after he shed his skin the new scales were slightly warped in that area.
