Wouldn't inertia play a factor as well? Humans could probably go at speeds much higher than 10*9.8 m/s, as long as the amount of force on their bodies was lower (they didn't accelerate that fast). A slow increase in acceleration would likely allow for this.
As for Magneto, he would make it to Japan long before the Hand. This was the best omake I've read in a week. Good job. I also want to point out that your writing skill is getting so much better as time goes on, I can see the difference. Cut down on the flashbacks though, yea? Selene is an OC and while it's cool, it's not cool enough to take up an entire chapter when you could progress plot. In other words, rather than feeling like part of the story it feels like heavy filler. Good luck, author-sama!

I agree. Not many of us readers particularly care about comments. They're a fun addition but we prefer a story with fewer mistakes.
