He couldn't dare step out knowing Wayner would shoot him, and he couldn't fight him, thus he took out a gun from his pants and crawled towards the other pillar Mia was hiding at, peeking out to watch Neil. With that question, Mia was reminded of Zephyr. She covered her face with her palm and cried, shaking convulsively from the soul crushing image of Zephyr's body this morning when the men came to drag his already decomposing body away that had left the warehouse smelling even after he was taken away. She hadn't been able to even look at the body when they were dragging it away and laughing and gagging at the smell it emitted from the infected wound. His eyes were wide open, and his lips had turned completely dark. His face were as pale as a sheet. Zephyr's story had touched Mia to tears, and it made her love her husband even more for changing the life of a boy. She silently promised to make sure Zephyr would be introduced to women. He deserved to be loved and have a family of his own, and she vowed to see that the walls he'd put up would break if they got out of here.
