Was it his thin frame that trembled ever so slightly when drenched in the rain? Or the way he clung to Song Zhuyu with such desperation and anxiety like the very air keeping him alive? Or perhaps it was the fact that Rui Ye was blind, which made Song Zhuyu feel at ease since he knew the way Rui Ye treated him was entirely due to who he was, and not what he looked like?
