It's good, playing through Danny's experience with the pyramid gives us an idea of what Michael will have to go through with the temple. It's also nice knowing exactly what happened to Danny before he was summoned instead of just "something bad happened and he dead".Don't mind these people with the TikTok attention spans, the pace you're going at is fine. It's like some people have never read an actual book before, flashbacks like this are common. And I hope to read this novel for a while, why should any of the story elements be rushed?
