sometimes i feel that many chapters or great part of the chapters are fillers. its always meaningless conversation, klaus tries to annoy someone and we keep living in that loop. It was hard to read all the chapters on this journey back to the academy. Look at this one for example, a chapter named "visiting the principal's officer" that could easily just be skipped since they did not get to talk with the principal. I mean at this point there will be a chapter like "going to the blablabla pavillion" and they will meet, talk dumb repetitive stuff and walk 100 meters to arrive at the entrance for the chapter to end. By the way i really like this novel, not trying to rub any negativity on the author.

Here is my impression of the novel as a whole: A lot of depth in the universe building, how the system works and aether. Ordeals are all different and the story never gets monotonous. Mc is not OP, and is constantly in danger and has to use his brain to get the most benefits, he is not a heartless character as fang yuan from Reverend Insanity but still calculative and patient. I am a super fan of this novel and honestly i think is a notch above all the others i've been reading in this site thus far, this is not a novel about a perfect talented young man who is super handsome and all girls are falling everywhere for him and everything he does is perfect and awesome. This is a story about an mc that is trying his best to survive and become strong enough to stand his ground on this new universe. There is the constant pressure to become better, to be wiser and to learn more. And his good decisions and perseverance and snowballing into better results and getting stronger faster and faster If i must say some cons is: the start is not really special and until he got transported to the new universe i found it somewhat boring THIS NOVEL NEEDS A WIKI / FANDOM ASAP, too much information and many times you think you had the right information in your mind about something and later in chapters you get confused as things are not behaving as you expect. This is not a simple novel about stacking qi/energy/whatever and just breaking through planes and refining the body. There are alot of moving parts on how to get stronger and the world is very complex.

author, i have a question. Now that Jake has tons and tons of aether wouldnt it be feasible to increase some stats with this aether or at least show how much it would cost to increase true will with aether? it seems long forgotten the times when jake was striving to max his stats as an human and using aether points like an rpg. The last thing i remember is that after a certain point it just becomes exponentially expensive but he is now filthy rich compared to before.
