I feel that this novel does not give any assurance to the readers for the main couple’s relationship. I. Firstly even if Vincent is married,Halley did not tell her dad and friends that she is liking someone.of course can understand she is afraid her dad would probably investigate her boyfriend. II. Secondly,at least if the author makes the fl pregnant there is some meaning to their relationship. III. Thirdly, the divorce,most likely the divorce would come way later,since that is the main plot of the novel. Use saying that best if she tell she has someone to her family or she is pregnant

Dude, I think Bryan meant what you said .But at the start of the next chapter he will tell like that he meant he wanted the old Halley who relied on him. Then the fl will say that she always would think of him as a brother.I think Bryan will get disappointed. Moreover the fl will be in a hurry to send him away,so that she can answer Vincent’s call.
