Blazed through the first 60 chapters one night before going to sleep, woke up and realized I wasn't interested in the lore or the magic system or the main character or the main heroine. Pretty good writing quality, and based on the table of contents the author does seem to keep up his creativity, just not really my preference.
I liked the more urban beginning where he strikes it rich with historical artifacts, but once he starts to cultivate and it becomes more like a reiki recovery story, I feel like the book suffers from not having a very in-depth power or combat system. I didn't read very far into that section though, so it might get better for more patient readers.
By the same author as Let Me Game In Peace, which I read to ~1100 chapters before it started to lose coherence IMO. 166 chapters out so far, the sports stuff stops around chapter 60 and never really comes back, the dungeons and demons are just as creative as always which makes it a fun read. Only complaint I have is that the MC's reasoning process is kind of skipped over - a lot of the time he just kind of makes a choice and it turns out to be a good choice, or a lucky one - but that doesn't affect the flow of the novel.
反派大师兄,师妹们全是病娇 can't really say much about the story since i stopped reading at chapter 47; MTL is hard
this is the most interesting of the trial reads IMO but the translation quality is the worst i've seen in a long time... i would literally rather read a machine translation if the TL team gets its act together once the story is confirmed for publication, this could be a good one, but if it's going to maintain this same quality there's no reason to read it
good stuff! looking forward to reading more still think it's really weird that the author changed the dragon color in the middle of writing (the gem in the greatsword is even referred to as a sapphire rather than a ruby once), but now that they've settled on red it should probably be fine for the rest of the story
another story about D&D wizards from the guy who wrote The Truth of Magic i thought he'd learned his lesson because this one has a much stronger setting and starting system, but after ~100 chapters he jumps the shark again and throws out everything to have dumb action scenes where none of his previous powers matter and neither do the side characters
Woo! This story is great, loved it for at least the first 110 chapters, always meant to read more but kind of put it on the back-burner, so if it gets a real English translation that would be the perfect chance to get back into things. Only problem I remember is that some of the fight scenes are really... meh... but the meat of the story is kingdom/minion management, so I don't really mind that
