That had been close. Far too close. Going into the fight he'd given Anthony a ten percent chance of coming out on top, but even he'd been shocked by the amount of power that'd been packed into that little demon. A monster fully specialised in physical stats with great speed and power would have been much better off than the ant. Not only were his stats lacking, his Skills were also weak when compared to a more specialised monster since he'd spent so much time grinding his magic and mental abilities. What people don’t seem to realize is that he won BECAUSE he is so generalized. He had enough magic ability to detect when he was being attacked, enough speed to dodge the main magic blows, enough defense to take on the shockwaves, enough regeneration to heal what he could not completely take and enough “physical” attacks to break what I assume should be a magic physical barrier (It just doesn’t make sense that something so physically weak doesn’t have one).

I think that being so used to “edgy” protagonists ruining someones life because of a few insults and making it seem totally normal and fair speaks really bad of other novel’s protagonist rather than the oposite. I am liking this protagonist a lot tho.
