I HATE Phobos’ relationship with Moira! He’s reserving space in his head and his heart for a woman that isn’t his mate. This whole mess is more his fault. I’m probably in the minority for blaming him more, but I stand by my position 💅🏽 And this all sucks even more because Moira comes off as a wonderful individual otherwise! Though she needs to stop being so casual with someone else’s husband 😑
I pity that female in a way, if she had desired Phobos I would have allowed my wolf to take control of my flesh and perhaps would have slain her right there in that tent. But when she gazed up at him with those bleary broken eyes I knew it was her male she was seeking for not mine. Yet getting drunk and often kissing a mated male that to her Alpha is shameful no matter what and considering her traditional upbringing it should have brought out a severe sentence for her. But my male's friendship with her is so strong that he was willing to freely give himself to comfort her. I love that author didn’t treat romantic love as a cure for depression and trauma. And, I so appreciate the author’s depiction of what it’s like to witness loved ones going through mental health issues. Well done!

I don’t think he’s being manipulative. He was wondering how he could demonstrate his commitment to her and their relationship, and her living situation happened to provide that kind of opportunity. I really think he would have done the same exact thing even if Eden wasn’t scared about their relationshi… I could be totes wrong though 😅

I love the Keeley and 2nd life Aaron ship, but I actually think Keeley’s reticence/stubbornness with Aaron is completely understandable. She, her baby and her father were murdered because of that relationship! He also sucked as a partner in their first life. Trauma is a real issue with her. I would never ship these two in real life. However, I think the author is masterfully addressing how Keeley is processing her trauma. Everytime Keeley comes off as repetitive with her concerns and bitterness, it gives a certain authenticity to the character’s experience in my opinion. Keeley is trying to reconcile her subconscious feelings for Aaron and general values about kindness with her deeps wounds/scars from her first life. All this is to say that I totes support the way Keeley is dealing with everything 😄
