I totally get the point of having the inner demon and the urges etc - It’s sexy and it’s part of the world the author has created (same as many authors if tou think of Twilight etc.)... but I have to say I don’t love the implication that men have this uncontrollable urge to have *** with vulnerable women with the ‘poor them’ attitude for having to fight it. At some moments it really promotes an unhealthy and honestly rapey culture around ***/desire. For the young people reading this, please do not be fooled or allow yourselves to believe that this is real. Men have every ability and DECENCY to stop / to not start something when their partner isn’t into it. Same for women, whose desires are just as strong but (culturally) supressed far more often.

You can use ‘meet’ in this context too, eg “I’m meeting a friend for coffee” wouldnt always be a new person, but you would still say you are meeting them 😄
