honestly the update schedule will be every 2-3 weeks, but wont start till after march 12, i am going to be at a convention for a week and won't have time to work on it.

I ended up removing the system rather than try to keep track of all the things nescessary for that…my Google sheets was a nightmare…but I digress. In the first chapter, Demaris utilizes martial skills and various magics through his technology.

Thank you for your comment. Demaris isn’t perfect and has a past to overcome. He fought a war for 13 years against the demons, having PTSD from said war. While devils are different from demons, Demaris is struggling to tell the difference between the two when he calls Rias a demon or devil or whatever because they both emanate an ‘evil’ kind of miasma. After rereading the story up to this point, I've found quite a number of inconsistencies; personality, and character choices, also kinda forgot about the game system at times, lacking character descriptions... I'm going to step back and do quality control. new chapters will be posted after I am done adjusting the already-completed chapters. I'm not trying to alter my story to the reviews, I want to give the story more life. Also, I honestly struggle to keep track of the game aspect of the story, what would you guys recommend to better keep track of stats? though, given that I already don't like keeping track of the stats I might remove the system altogether, but make his mutant ability straight-up ID create. I have far more free time now that the semester is over and will be focusing on writing. Thank you for reading my story, it means a lot to me!

That is true, there is always room for improvement in my writing. I do try to consider all the angles in each interaction, perhaps I'm dumbing him down too much, but everyone gets a wake-up call one day and Demaris's wake-up call is inevitable. Thank you for reading my story!

That is a great observation. It is true that he has maturity thrust on him, but he is more than just the sword Saint. He has the memories and physical form of the twelve year old Demaris too. To put it simply, the brain development of a child allows for a keen fight or flight based on fear. Demaris has plenty of knowledge, but his brain and it’ chemistry are at a twelve year olds development. Hope this helps explain and it is my hope I can better convey this through the story.
