the author has referenced like 2-3 ace mech pilots (I believe the ace pilot in the room is one of them) who are unconfident of going through the body merger process. basically ves could become a "king maker" or I guess "god maker" in this sense.finally time for ves to get on the big stage. glad the time has come. with the destroyer of worlds on the rubtharian side and the terran apprentice's patriarch (who is also one step from God pilot... just the body merger process is blocking). ves could create 3 god pilots on his team balancing each faction out. so much leading up to this!!!!!
