I think that the situation in where a heart splashes blood accidentally in someone mouth and gets gulped down just when he needed is forced. I thought some other ways it could be done (not that you should use them, they are just opinions) but for example, it would be less forced if you said he was taken by instinct and licked the blood on his hands, or that his whole existence clammed for blood with strong genes so his vampire side simply controlled the blood in his mouth direction. Or you could have opened Multiple injuries in him and said one of them was splashed with the blood and his body drew it inside when it sensed the strong blood, reacting fiercely.
extremely forced.
that's... forced.
??? at least tell me you will deny it later.
wait, does he need to waste his mana to learn stuff ?
huh... Well to be honest there's quite a few plot holes/things that don't make sense in the start and most of the time mc is really just hunting(small time skips), NPC nearly don't get attention, the quests itself are said to be rare to find, mc is overpowered, and the only reason someone would have to read is that same overpowered mc, and fhe fact this is a virtual reality game, personally I read because I love to read about someone doing hard quests and receiving great rewards, getting more op... and overpowered traits/innate talents in games are just that appealing to me, even if the overall story is not all that good. Resuming: if you like RPG and games you should try it out even if you get a bit angry at the start, you should give it a chance and see if you will stay for the op stuff or leave for not being able to turn off a few parts of your brain. (tip: don't read comments they will tell you just make you more angered at the story.)
the cliche of walking away...
Pathetic. You are in another world with obvious differences and now you even found a dark elf, you can't call yourself a cultured person if you didn't think of magic maybe being real. Even if it isn't you are pathetic because you scream out loud your thoughts in surprise, I hate your existence just for that fact.
it is?
he got so excited with the rewards but he didn't even read them????
just say he wanted to try to extract it. Why talk about instinct. blergh.
Man, why did he enter the second stage?? He should have kept his base the same for a long time (HE doesn't NEED to progress just because he can, it's no like he would lose something) That way if he could become a outer disciple and meet people stronger than the deacon and more varied. The system keeps everything for him, it doesn't matter if he uses later! And he is risking an expert looking over and discovering his base, which would spell a thousand more troubles than just telling the sect. (if you hide there must be a reason) and yes I'm assuming mc can't hide his base from people too much above him unless he has system deliberate protection (not mentioned anything) or author just changed this part of the cultivation world to fit in his story, which is not a bad thing.
nyarlathotep
yes, it is.
I'm getting annoyed with the mc. sincerely just hear the damn system, it's useful.
