So the part i dont understand is that if carter hadnt seen emalee in the woods on their first meeting and only smelled her, Then how did he know she was the alphas daughter when he first encountered her in the woods? It seemed he lamented to trinity about how he had met his mate but couldnt be with her because they would know he was a spy. I think i recall him even being afraid that theyd recognize him. Did he infiltrate and spy on their pack or did he just watch their pack from a distance?
