this is true for all authors. whenever they say they're ready to sit down and just start writing they definitely aren't. the more they say it, the less they'll actuality write. I followed Apocalypse Reborn on patron. Towards the end, the author was literally releasing more statements that he was finally ready to start writing again than he was releasing chapters. Gave up after 6 months got me 6 chapters (can't lose the income) and something like 15 "no chapter today, busy thinking about what to write instead of just writing" notices
