I usually play as an argonian bc it's a pain to find a waterbreathing enchantment and most of the other racial effects are either relatively easy to get (more magicka, magic res, etc) or not really worth it (more punch bc fists of steel can do it better, element res bc with solitude shield + max enchanting you can have two magic res on one item)
