One only gets pushed out of the rankings if they get kicked out of the top 100, not when someone surpasses them. In previous cube battles, one could lose their position from being challenged, but that feature is not available in this one. The positions that would have "Zhou" in the name would be Zhou's Weakest Disciple (Ming Xiu), Zhou's Disciple Feng Qiuyan, Zhou's Disciple Qin Zhen, Zhou Wen's Brother (Zhong Ziya), Zhou Wen's Eldest Brother (Liu Yun), and Zhou Wen.

He needed to get a dimensional creature, not a Companion Beast. The goal was to extract physical materials from the bad luck creature to make a Mythical Serum for Wang Chan. You cannot do that with a Companion Beast, as they are primarily composed of Essence Energy.

It's certainly true that most Companion Beasts are fairly unintelligent. It's even remarked upon a bit that some perform worse than the dimensional creatures they came from. Evolvables, or mythicals, tend to be more intelligent and not as obedient. The Tiger Soul General was always weird even before becoming evolvable, but that's probably due to the Mysterious Phone's fusion powers.

Yes, it's similar, but not the same. Another difference is the fact Companion Beasts' bodies are composed primarily of essence energy and not physical matter. Most can't be killed by organ failure due to lacking organs.

I misremembered that there were only two Orchid Blades, when in actuality there are three. It was stated in 546 that the one became three, with the replicas lacking the misfortune aspect. I remembered Wang Lu getting a replica. but since I thought there was only one replica, I thought Zhou Wen would have the original.
