Author, you still around? Weird coming from me, but I would love more chapters! Honestly a nice story and it has such great potential.

This is a good book. Quality wise it is pretty nice and it has some nice story and great potential. I seriously loved where it was going and then at one point, it suddenly ended. And no, I am not saying it ended at a weird spot that seemed unsatisfactory in a few small ways. This novel made a full break by ramming straight into the nearest wall creating an ending I can only describe as horrible. I truly, truly like the story, but oh god that ending makes me want to punch someone. If you like novels with op but not fully op MC's, this will be for you. But, if you actually are here for the story I would suggest reading until it made the sharp turn into a wall, and continuing the story yourself.

So, it was option 1. Though likely it is combined with 2.2. where Bai Ning will fight a demon cultivator on his level.

I am betting on 2.1 and 2.2 as 1 seems unlikely to me. You know the truth, so you will know if I am correct. (The one where he fights the life and death battle against something his level is my top guess)

Let me do another guess as I think the one below me is wrong. Her reasons for coming here are likely 2. Firstly: Contribuation points And second: The oddly specific reason she mentioned before. Knowing things about plots in this Novel, I am guessing one of either these things will happen. 1. Bai Ning and the girl go together, find the herb which she will bring up, fight for it against, either demonic cultivators, or something mysterious that can't be explained yet. Similar to the Core Formation Demonic beasts that were infected with the energy from the "Mortal"(<- Don't remember the exact nane) Realm Demonic beast. 2. They do not go together and Bai Ning happens to stumble uppon the location of the herb. Here are 2 possible continuations after this: 2.1. Bai Ning finds the girl entangled in a desperate life and death struggle and saves her after a bitter battle against something his level, cause plot. 2.2. Bai Ning takes the herb and not long after the girl arrives being very confused where the herb only she should know about dissapeared to. Followed b, something more. 3. I do not know what I am talking about abd something else happens. I wonder how good I am at predicting things. While reading PancakeWitches novels it was very accurate, I wonder if I still have it in me.

Do you know PancakesWitch, or the nickname I gave thm at some point "Author of Insanity"? They daily bring out 1-2 chapters each long and intricate and well written for about 4 or 5 books daily. I do not know your situation and don't expect any mortal being to reach the height of insanity the Author of Insanity has, but I hope you will have some great, stress releaving time for yourself ^_^.

This girl, is basically a normal and very sane person in a cultivation world. Why did she enter the Shattering Star Sect? For gains! If you had the strength and oppertunity to gain tens of millions irl, would you take the risk to try and deceive your way to get them, or would you just continue your life in mediocricy? She is not worth being detestable, she is very realistic and just "a normal human", howerver normal an 18 y.o. Nascant Soul cultivator may be.

Elder Song wanting to curse MC is very reasonable. Even though he is a Peak Domain Lord, he still does not think enough about stuff causing trouble for others.

He does not think he was tricked, after all, this was truly his only chance to enter the sect. Even if the guy thinks MC will die, he did not truly hope for that, he just thought it to be a logical outcome.
