I am digging the premise so far. But the disjointed MLT is rough. It really makes this hard to follow. I can see the intelligence of the original piece in brief snatches, but this is covered up by the heavily mangled translation. Honestly, I am not sure how long I can follow this work like this. Which is sad, because I do like the thread.
This may have already (probably) addressed much earlier, but have you maps of the regions? If so, where would I find them? I am definitely enjoying the story so far. Please don't just abandon it like so many others here.
This is easily the top story in my lineup at the moment. The mc is not op but strong enough to get by. There is none of that repetitive retoric that mars so many stories. There's usually a direction for the author even if I sometimes get lost. Then again my thrill is the alchemy portion. If you like good trade craft fables with some intermittent violence then this is for you.
This story stays at the top of my favorite list. It seriously has it all. I can feel the writing getting better with each chapter. It started well, but it is now in the realm of the great writers. I like that we get a couple of new chapters a day rather than having to wait a week or month for even a small update. Alex has gone from a dweeb, to a powerhouse, yet remains humble and grateful. His luck kind of sucks for being an MC, but that has the pro sides as well. This author has created a large world with plenty of room to grow and allow this saga to continue without becoming static. I look forward to the new releases every day.
This is truly one of the best stories I have read in a long long time. To the point that I bought quite a few coins to continue the story until this point, which is something I rarely do. The plot is well thought out and expertly crafted. The main plot of alchemy is neither abandoned nor overly emphasized. The MC is neither stupidly OP nor a lucky wimp. I like the world building as well. There are enough unique plot points and some twists to keep it interesting.
