Was gonna say this, the order of missile choice should have been reversed, aim 9x —> cloud blocks ir —> use aim120 arh with the pulse doppler radar

Yeah it should be, Fox 1 is designation for Semi Active Radar Homing which needs a constant radar lock from the aircraft, Fox 2 is Infra-Red Heat seeking and Fox 3 is for Active Homing Radar such as the amraam aim120s or more famously the 54 pheoniz missiles from the f14s. (Description is missiles for author)
