I hope this book doesn't drag on like most. The same scenario over and over. At this point and no. of chapters in, no clue as to who the ML really is and FL can't seem to get a break. It's a bit tiring and a waste of coins and I've skipped a lot of chapters because of that. I may have to wait until this book is done to check the ending and see if the FL gets to meet her ML and has her own good ending.

Damon is too lax in his treatment of Ariel. You'd think he'd bar her or something but just lets her get close to him / his surroundings. There wasn't even a lawsuit after she got out of the hospital. She was let off scot-free. And no apology to Eliana whatsoever or any effort in the last 2 years to make up for it. As for Nick, considering all that and Damon's supposedly "stance" on Ariel, you would think he'd have the sense not to tell her or Nicole or not let her tag along. Such a good friend..
