Disappointed and Disgusted: A Missed Opportunity for Character Development I completed reading "A Star is Reborn and I must say, it was a complete disappointment. While I can appreciate the effort put into the translation, unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The story itself is nothing short of sadistic, with a glaring lack of character development. Both the main leads, both before and after reincarnation, are depicted as pathetic individuals devoid of any morals. It's disheartening to see such potential squandered in favor of shallow and distasteful storytelling. while the first ML is pure Devil who abuses FL physically and mentally, the second one is supposed to be the sunshine but he rapes the FL too. she has been raped countless times in the novel and still trusts her life with these two guys. Overall, I would strongly advise against wasting your time on this book. There are plenty of other titles out there that offer engaging plots and well-rounded characters, which this one sorely lacks.
