I forgot to add, every story has plot armor. Thus MCs is the utter incompetence of everyone in the world and the lack of proper technology except in a couple cases. I would rate this as a 3.5

This is an intriguing novel. The characters are developed well and the cultivation system is written pretty well in an attempt to somewhat specialize it to different regions of the world. The humor is quite great in that the MC has a decently sharp tongue. It is obviously written from the point of view someone unaware of the world. The novel drops the IQ of fighters and organizations around the world by several points. They got America's arrogance spot on but made their main organizing seem to be from a frat house with little organization along with most other countries not having much organization. All that being said I enjoyed the story the humor is great. The MC is an orphan and has great character growth. His relationship with his kinda adopted sister is wholesome. If you read it with a grain of salt realizing it is heavily biased towards China and is a fantasy novel you will enjoy it.

Starts out really well. Typical transmigrated to another world gained a great skill no one knows about, engages to the local goddess but comes from poor background. That being said it is done well. The world is built well. then as usual the author makes the characters idiots without common sense. I would love for a good writer to come in and rewrite the story because it has great potential.

I read the story because everything and everyone evolves quite well even some of the dislikable characters. honestly change the MC and it would be an excellent story. The plot and other things in the story are really good. The MC is extremely dislikeable. His only saving qualities are his love for pets and supposedly his family. He has more plot armor than most books or stories I've read. his selfish choices lead to the deaths of countless people when the choice was unnecessary and unused. The author doesn't use it as a catalyst for the Mc to grow into a better person. He is selfish and has a complex about how he is the best looking being in existence. The MC is a piece of trash and as one character accurately said. even a stone would be exceptional with everything he has been given. The MC is only likable towards the very end after he faces a great crisis. Although he had faces several just as heartbreaking crisis event before that.
