I hate these people praising the katana while hating the longsword. A katana is in every way a worse version of a longsword. I mean there is a reason the tanks of the Medievals, knights, trained with them from their very childhiod. I mean just watch some videos about in on youtube. Neither a spear or a katana would have a chance vs a swordmaster
