haha fair enough, but I don't think leonel cares about such things. think about this, Lionel didn't care about his mother for 18 years of his life. he didn't hate her he didn't despise her he just completely didn't care about her existence. he would have treated her as luke warm as any other random person had he not had that vision in the dream palace.

leonel puts in as much effort as the situation demands no more no less it can be a bit frustrating but i feel like The mc is someone who handicaps himself subconsciously why? i think its like when you play a game with a younger sibling or a friend that's not as good as you so you dont try as hard. the only difference is leonel takes that example and applies it to his life. that's what i think anyway i mean i dont know if you've beaten someone over and over in something but it does get boring imagine you just have so much talent everything you do you win of course it would be fun at first but what do you do when its no longer fun?

leonel beefs with every organization because he believes he's better than everybody and quite frankly he is better than everyone else. the one thing you need to know about leonel, is that he is a very complicated character. He tries to treat everybody equally but deep down in his bones he sees every living being as nothing but a number and even in the latest chapters he is still struggling with this. actually there is a lot that leonel avoids when it comes to himself and i believe that's because he's worried about what he could turn into. but if there is one thing that leonel doesnt like. its people who believe themselves to be something they are not, and a majority of the time thats believing they are stronger than him.

its starting to really bother me the way author is writing klea and emerys story he loves her but introduces her as his close friend twice? the naivety is so forced it's getting extremely grating

yes but as I said he is only 18. right sure he killed a lot of people but it's not because he wanted to kill them it was kill or be killed. also let's not forget he's still not sure whether or not they were real people. a couple of months in a portal fighting to survive isn't going to just change you into some cold blooded killer who can just watch a girl you've been chasing for years look you in your eyes and cut someone down without blinking btw there is a difference between mc and FML the mc was just a highschool kid who knows nothing of the dimensional verse whereas the FML has known about it her entire life

and you seem to be missing the point that he was just a highschool kid before killing those people and his crush is just a nervous girl who runs away from him whenever he confessed. your point isn't unfair after killing so many people sure maybe he shouldn't be so unstable after seeing her kill someone but if you continue to read you learn that the mc is a person whose logic dictates his everything!!! and his logic dictates that the FML is just a shy girl who could never kill which is why his brain Fry's.

you are considering a child who is 18 years old who knows nothing much of anything to be mentally stable after his entire world gets flipped upside down in a matter of minutes? everything that happens in the first 25 chapters is something completely new to him i mean for gods sake up until he steps into the portal he's a completely normal teenager who believes hes going to be a quarterback for the rest of his life let alone being forced into a situation where he has to not only survive being hacked into but also to kill!!!!! a normal 18 year old (which the mc is - at least world view wise) having to kill someone and watching a girl you have been chasing for years kill someone is a traumatizing experience for anyone. you're the weird one for expecting otherwise
