Is the tragedy tag translating to "I will just randomly kill off characters", "the ending is a sad one" or just a sad past causing the character to develop into who they are in Book 3?

Another fanfic where he constantly complains about stuff like that but then does nothing to really fix it till near the end... Where author seemingly dropped it.
At least in my house, those supernatural beings cannot barge in whenever they want willy-nilly. They will be in for a surprise counter-attack and curses if anyone even tries to barge in, and we will know immediately if someone's trying to enter my house unannounced. So is there any reason they research magic? Does it help? They cannot use it even if they understand the magic. Is it just for onowledge? And how do they make magic books? Elves could use magic without Falna... But I believe it was more akin to rituals thus far slower & less efficient however also wasn't as "strict".

At first things start interest with a mixture of both intrigue in what implications will arise from the merging of the worlds. It gets even more exciting when he truly begins to explore his powers while seemingly planning for the future... Then you get to chapter 20~ish and nothing has happened - the main character essentially raped his own mother & has only "talked" to two other men that we've seen. Essentially every chapter focuses on flirting with another girl and each has something special about them. If you want a story you aren't getting it here; even if you're looking for smut you won't find it. To me it feels like the author began with a solid idea then got distracted by all the waifu's he likes. Perhaps they find their way again later but I got bored out my mind by chapter 19.

When she touched me, I used a deep scan of her. It was odd how she seemed to be the only girl of the four who was normal. So I just did that to make sure. honestly... Rias; she's a girl who really wants power but also seems to have enough self respect to not steal from others. If she would do anything to free herself from her situation she could have just took twilight healing without need to tell Issei the truth. Something a lot of fanfics seem to overlook is that she is under a lot of stress so it's impressive she's as good a person as she is.
Hmmm, should I start interacting with girls more than usual? Maybe I'll find someone I find compatible.
