Every step I took sent a flurry of mosquitoes towards my face. How that girl had survived so long out here alone with all of these pestering bugs was beyond me. I was starting to regret not bringing bug spray to at least protect myself a little. I wasn't sure if bug spray would harm the fairies though so I had left it behind. An exhausted groan left my lips as I swatted my hand at the air in a failed attempt to chase the insects away as I waited impatiently. - Lynn_K_M2yrPosted
So far from what I have read, which is only a few chapters, the author has an amazing talent. The way they describe the situations is unique and it keeps you interested in the story. This isn't normally the kind of book I read but its great so far. I plan on reading more. [img=recommend][img=update]

Once I was out of the shower, I would make my way to the closet past the now wide awake and hyper dog. The weather was getting alot crisper as fall shifted to winter, which meant I would have to wear warmer clothes. Having decided on a yellow blue and white cropped sweatshirt and faded ripped jeans for the day, I would plop down at my desk. I would too, but not as much. It can be so scary out there, especially these days.
The surrounding forest had grown darker, bringing out my fears, like the fear of what lurked in that darkness, of being alone, of death. I could feel that something was coming, yet I had no clue what that something could be. I could feel it in the way my hair had stood on end across my arms and the back of my neck, goosebumps following right after.
