Oh I don't hate Elia at all, I like her very much in fact - my thinking about Elia dying is that our Robert does not know the story. Tywin is a complete psychopath who will 100% kill Elia, only Robert would stop him.. but the problem is Robert has no reason to believe that old freak would do such a thing. Tywin's killing of Elia is not logical, the far better option would be to send Aegon to be a Maester or join the Night's Watch then marry Rheanys to Robert's heir; the killing of Elia has no logical thinking in it.

but Finn is right though.. even if the elf left them just to study magic; it doesn't change the fact that she left them without a co-leader in the middle of pre-apocalypse times. it's horrifically selfish. this bs about resetting her level is even more psychotic as there's no need to do so. if she kept her level then she could atleast come back in case of an emergency.
