Literally trying to rip off a starving 4 years old child of his hard hunted food, knowing that it would be really hard for him to hunt anything, taking in count that she thought it was a normal starving 4 years old child

They could have asked more things, even if you have a detector of lies, he could have been correlated with the homicide or know something. The specific nature of the question makes it even more dumb. You don't need to be a genius to know how basic interrogations work, and if you really dont know, it doesn't cost you anything to search a little bit about it. This novel haves his flaws like the forced low intelligence but i handled it, i just don't think i can handle lazy writing like this.
