I get that she had her mental acuity enhanced and all, but she’s making too many assumptions and jumping to too many conclusions without really knowing anything. I hope she doesn’t constantly make decisions off no info only to be saved by plot armor or some other ridiculous conjecture

Why make the chest plate thinner? Since most of the time in combat it will be fighting in bipedal form, it seems to me it should strengthen the breastplate rather than weaken it
Bipedalism was more combat oriented while eight-legged movement was faster and more defensive with the Collector lying lower to the ground, covering the thinner plating on its chest and front. - Arierom2yrReplied to PercsMeatyThighs
Its got 6 spider legs so if it uses its arms or legs it would be 8 or 10. that would be a bit weird though, so i thought 6 would make more sense

Hey John, do you mind explaining Psionic power a bit more in depth? It sounds a bit like ESP or a more limited type of magic, but more explanation on what it is rather than what it can do would be appreciated. anything to do with the famous idea that we only use 10% of the brain’s power and if we could use more, we could do crazy stuff like telepathy, telekinesis, etc.

Lol i think firearms are imitations of bows and arrows, not the other way around. In the technological evolution that is

The stag before was worth less biomass than a goblin and in its last metamorphosis level goblins were already only worth 1 point of biomass. I dont see how just some blood and gory bits of this stag could be 2 points of biomass

How did these sensitive hairs sense the teitch f the guys muscles from a few feet away? The air displacement? That would be so small of a sensation that it would be impossible, even for super sensitive hairs to sense

How does the collector even know how to say the word if the goblin he took the language from most likely didn’t know? Or does he somehow take the rules of the language and adapt them to create the words he needs?

Or he knows that estocs dont have sharp edges, just a sharp tip so either the author doesnt know what an estoc is or they are something completely different in this world

Estocs are famously edgeless blades. they dont have an edge and even if they did it would be on both sides since it is a crucifix shape as well.

It is similar to a rapier but it doesnt have an edge. It’s made purely to pierce. Fun fact, estoc is the french name. The english have the same type of weapon but they call it a tuck.
